Preview family stats in search results

To preview family stats (doc counts) in your search results, simply toggle the "With Families" switch next to the document count stats below the search tools. No need to save and lock a search.

⚠️ Toggling "With Families" does NOT change actual search results. Families can be viewed by clicking the "Family" button for each document. Locking and saving a search also gives you the option to pull families into your search result.

Filter by family status

You can filter by family with the "family status" column in the filter carousel.

View family members

In Logikcull, documents that are part of the same family (e.g., an email and its attachments) are grouped together. You can easily view these related documents—known as family members—from both the Search page and the Document Viewer.

View family members from the Search page

From the main navigation, click the Search tab to run a search or view your search results in table view.

In the search results, parent documents are marked with a large person icon. This icon includes a number, which indicates the total number of documents in the family.

Click the family icon (or the parent document) to open a Family Contents modal.

This modal displays all documents in the family group, with the parent document at the top.

The documents listed below the top (parent) document are the child documents, such as attachments or embedded files.

To clos the Family Contents modal, click the X in the upper-right corner and return to your search results.

Child documents that appear in your search results are marked with a multiple-person icon. The number below the icon indicates the total number of documents in the family.

Clicking the family icon on any document—parent or child—opens the modal displaying the complete family group.

View family members from the Document Viewer

While viewing a document, click the family icon in the right panel to open the Family Contents view. This displays the parent document and any child documents, giving you full context without leaving the viewer.
