Nope! Cloud uploads don't require any special software to use beyond what you need for Logikcull. That said, we know nothing ever goes perfectly, so here are some things you'll want to keep in mind if you're running into trouble:
- Turn on popups. In order to make your Cloud upload experience as seamless as possible, we need to make use of popup windows on occasion so look for blocked popups and enable them.
- 0% doesn't necessarily mean 0%. When you select a Cloud upload the first thing we do is crawl through your selected folders and files to discover everything in them. Most of the time this is a fairly straightforward process and you'll see the progress bar moving along accordingly. In some instances, such as if you had chosen to upload a single folder containing 10,000 documents, progress can appear stalled since we don't get an update until the very last file is found.
- The same concept from above applies to the transfer of files. Because of how some Cloud providers work, we may only receive an update on what's been transferred as each file finishes. In an upload with lots of files this is generally alright, but if you were uploading a single, large file you'd see your progress bar stay at 0% until it was done and then shoot up to 100%.
