For projects created after March 22, 2018, you can now find the last email in a thread with one click! In the Auto Tag (QC Tag) filter in the carousel, there is a "Last Email" option you can select.

An email tagged with the "Last Email" QC Tag is the last message of an email thread, or is a message without a thread. When part of a thread, this tag indicates the end of a particular thread and not the inclusiveness of the thread's contents within this email.

Last Email makes it fast and easy to cull your documents for review. When combined with other search filters, the Last Email filter can be very powerful. For example, using Advanced Search you can run a search for all emails that are tagged with Last Email and have threads:
โ€‹

Once you have a document open, you can scan through the threads by selecting the Threads tool on the right-side toolbar.

  • Note: This Auto Tag is applied to the last email in a branch, including standalone documents. This tag may not be the most comprehensive and we always recommend further QC; solely relying on this tag may cause content to be missed during review.

    • For example: let's say there is an email (A), a reply (B), and a reply back to the reply (C). Typically C would be marked with "last email." In C, if the person deleted some text that the response B had included, that content would have been lost from review.

  • This Auto Tag will be applied to File Uploads only.
